Statewide Macro View (Primary Deliverables)
• Dynamic network for the sharing of resources among Florida SULs, both digital production resources, and information resources.
• Efficiencies in utilization of resources realized by building coordination among sister institutions.
• Mechanism to build Florida-branded content towards the threshold level for national and international participation in world digitization enterprises.
• Infrastructure completion by the end of the year 2009. A half million images accessible by the end of the five-year pilot.
• Cost-effective access to publicly held research materials through coordinated production of digital surrogates by the year 2010.
• Sustainable Web based survey of SUL hardware, software, and personnel resources in place among SULs.
Individual Institutions (Secondary Deliverables)
• Immediate access to significant research holdings at sister institutions.
• Dynamic communication networking in place by the end of academic year 2008/09.
• Significant enrichment of resource delivery to local constituents.
